Mashed Tators! An easier way to eat.

Here's a tip for you, a creamy mashed potato as a base to your other foods makes it SO much easier to chew and swallow your food. I use an instant potato mixed with a lot of water (I use the left over water from my steamed veg to maximize the nutritional opportunity) , flax seed oil for fat, (gosh, this stuff is so dang yummy! I like the Barleans brand, or you can use butter if you prefer), some tangy unsweetened yogurt (i prefer Forager, cashew yogurt), generous amount of salt & pepper (yea, those few remaining taste buds left demand it!). Just swirl it all together, then pile on the steamed vegetables ( my go-to veg is: broccoli, squash, zucchini, bell pepper and carrots). I love a slice of raw purple onion and pickled beet. I put a splash of apple cider vinegar on the vegetables. Here I have added some organic shrimp on top of the pile of vegetables, often I'll add salmon or sauté up some mushrooms or Soyrizo (vegan chorizo). This is a big meal, it usually takes me about 45mins to eat it, used to this would have taken me a good 2 hours and before the Tougles, I simply would not have been able to eat anything except the mashed potatoes.
